The crypto market in general has taken a real beating, some coins are down significantly and people ask, “should I buy some now?”

The basic answer with any investment is “buy on the lows and sell on the highs”.

When things are down, the general investor behaviour is, “I am down on my investment, cash everything in now!”, this could possibly the worst investment decision anyone could make.

We would like to stress that most traditional funds which we invest in do not have as much volatility (ups and downs) as what we hear of in the market at large. The reason for this is there are people who are smarter than us, with a full-time job in watching the markets and the market movements, the same applies to crypto funds and any other investment instrument.

If you don’t understand what you’re investing in and don’t know why you’re investing into it, seek guidance from the smarter people who do this for a living, or don’t do it at all!

FOMO, the fear of missing out, is the most dangerous investment philosophy known to mankind, don’t just do it because someone you know did it too.

There is nothing wrong with any well thought through, diversified investment strategy across different asset classes, provided there actually is a process you have been through with someone who does this as their profession and someone you trust.
